The use of aluminum benches as displays for plants and flowers has antique origins and, more precisely, at the end of the Seventies, when the metallurgical market started to propose new alloys and new companies were able to sell aluminum in different forms with industrial costs. First used for production benches, it was then used inside a retail outlet thanks to its dynamism and moving flexibility.
Today every Orlandelli Group's part in the bench has a deep history of study and experience; in fact, the constant development of material production technologies, in particular of plastic materials, has contributed to its realization of the design concept. The most important application of plastic materials, in our benches, is about the use of polystyrene shelves. Suitable for irrigation system ‘ebb and flow’, thanks to its technical features and appearance, it substitutes the previous aluminum shelves, inadequate because of the summer overheating and the unsightly incrustation due to the use of water and fertilizers.
The polystyrene shelf is non-glare, highly resistant to UV radiations with a height to the border of 2.36" and it has a filter and drain-cock in place. The sleepers' array guarantees a maximum loading capacity of 154 lbs./m². Design features: In order to go along with the needs of excellent finishes and cheap benches, Orlandelli Group developed an appreciated product for worldwide customers: a READY TO ASSEMBLE table.
The pre-pierced aluminum profiles will be assembled in a SIMPLE and RAPID way by the customer, using screws and rivets at disposal. In this way, the high aesthetic value and the same robustness of the welded bench is maintained, saving on the product price and on transport charges.
Design Features
The structure of this bench for greenhouses and nurseries is forged primarily with aluminum and for this reason it is very light and easy to handle. All of the components, (sides, transverses and angulars) are cut and worked on work benches with numerical control and they are prepared for a precise and rapid assembly.
Trestles are fastened with aluminum tubular 1.58" x 1.58"x 0.08", tall 25.61", with Ø 3.15" adjustable feet, or, as a additional option, a wheel kit composed by special caps with stain steel thread insert, n. 2 swivel wheels Ø 3.94" and n. 2 swivel wheels Ø3.94" with brake.
Completing the bench line, Orlandelli Group created benches of different forms, combining with the classic rectangular bench. The complete line of benches is composed by triangular, square and hexagonal ones; proposing also wall benches with 3 shelves and every product is equipped with an adjustable height support on wheels, with a filter and drain-cock.
This kind of benches allows you to create a different layout solution for customers from many points of view: the exhibiting, journey and impact ones; generating a lot of compositions rendering a very pleasant and functional display for all of the Garden Centers, retail outlets and spaces inside Shopping Centers.
Considering the reduced dimensions compared to a rectangular bench, they can be put in the smallest of spaces, using the available space in a both aesthetical and functional way.
